Scotty Whitehurst (SAG - AFTRA) born in Laurel, MS is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.F.A. in Theater. While at USM, Scotty took screen writing and participated in numerous student and indie films. This led to Scotty pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Scotty has worked professionally acting for TV and Film since 2008, acting in the movies "I Love You Phillip Morris" with superstar Jim Carrey; "Jeff, Who Lives At Home" with funny guys Jason Segal and Ed Helms. For TV, Scotty has performed in the movies "Pizza My Heart" and "Campus Confidential" for ABC Family; "For One Night" for Lifetime; "Worst. Prom. Ever." for MTV, "Impact Earth", and most recently guest starred on, "NCIS: New Orleans" and a supporting role in the movie, "Kudzu Zombies". Scotty is also a casting assistant for Morgan Casting having helped cast Hollywood movies "Blackbird", "The Hollars", "Greater", "Shark Lake", "I Killed My BFF", "Dixieland", "Battlecreek", "Life At These Speeds", "Worry Dolls", "Sticky Notes", "The Historian", "Starve", "Big Significant Things" and "The Sound and the Fury" with James Franco. As a casting director, Scotty has cast short films "The Transfer, "What's Behind Door X", "The Goblin King" and "The Choice" along with the feature film, "Cagin of Chrysaint". In his spare time, Scotty teaches acting for film in Hattiesburg, MS.
