Gospel Jackson grew up in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. As the second child of a Liberian mother, growing up in the inner city influenced his mother to keep Gospel attending top-notch public schools, staying in church and surrounded by distinguished mentors. During his college years, Gospel studied business administration which led him into the realm of Internet marketing. After completing college, Gospel moved out California. Among his early works, Gospel directed, produced and appeared in a comedic web series called That Funny Show (2011) a series modeled after the famous In Living Color (1990) series. The year after, Gospel got a supporting role as USMC Captain Williams in the SyFy disaster movie original Super Cyclone (2012). Afterwards in 2013, he was cast in the sports drama Baseball's Last Hero: 21 Clemente Stories (2013), a film whose plot he identified with as a tale of overcoming the odds to achieve redemption and success. When not working, Gospel gives his time to charitable causes. He is an ambassador for You Inspire, which is a platform for the sharing of experiences by people who have faced and triumphed against life challenges. He also continues to run his online marketing business, serving over 10,000 in-house members, teaching Internet marketing and helping people expand their businesses online.
