Ross Philips was born to two British parents in the small mountain town of Stowe, Vermont. He is a dual citizen and still has many family members in and around Bristol, England. He attended Stowe High School until his junior year when he transferred to Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts. After two years at the boarding school he was accepted into the BFA Acting program at Carnegie Mellon University.
