Stephanie Swearingen

Earned a degree in Piano Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University, while studying with Dr. R. Kent Cook. She also earned minors in voice and organ. Also played percussion, saxophone, and clarinet in IWU's orchestras, wind ensemble, and jazz ensembles. Has sung in opera, operetta, and music theatre shows, as well as accompany and music directing. Has a background in classical ballet. She has studied ballet music and the Ballet Russe intensely with Dr. Stephen Press. Along with recording dead people's music, she does compose and arrange pieces for performance and recording.
