Hunter Adams is a writer and director, originally from the frigid Northwoods of Wisconsin, now residing in the scorched hills of Los Angeles. He is an alumnus of the IFP Filmmaker Lab in NYC as well as the Frontieres International Co-Production Market in Montreal. He is also a Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting quarter finalist. His most recent feature film, the gothic thriller Dig Two Graves (2017), was hailed by RogerEbert.com as "An uncommonly smart, well-made and ultimately touching meditation on grief, revenge and the ordinary perils of adolescence", while the New York Times called it "That rare chiller conjuring eeriness and dread." And added "Mr. Adams is clearly skilled with story structure, cinematography and his actors." Hunter's upcoming feature, the erotically charged thriller Death Don't Have No Mercy was among the top 50 highest scoring scripts at the 2019 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting Competition. The script was also 1 of 10 North American projects selected for the 2019 Frontieres International Co-Production Market in Montreal. It is scheduled for production in 2021.
