Marie Finch

Marie Finch is known for Twisted (2022), Nyctus (2022) and Mistaken (2022). Marie, born and raised in Sacramento, Ca. is as diverse in her ethnicity as she is in her life experiences. Her father who is of Nigerian, Congo and Mail descent left Atlanta, Georgia to California in the 40s to flee racism and create a better life for himself. From picking cotton to digging ditches, he eventually became a spec builder owning several homes on a block in West Sacramento, CA. Her mother, a homemaker, is of Scottish, Irish and Welsh descent. The short film Charlie (2018) in which Marie competitively won the role of Barbara, (Mother), was deemed as winning "Best Dramatic Short and Best In Fest" at SONscreen Film Festival 2019. In addition, Marie starred and produced Month to Month that won Critic's Choice Award at the Iowa's Independent Film Festival (2020). Acting is her passion and enjoys the process of collaboration and creation of storytelling...bringing a character to life and bringing life to a story.
