Sunny S. Walia

Sunny S. Walia is an Indian Australian actor who has worked in film, television and theatre. He is recently touring the U.K with award winning Belvoir Theatre play, Counting & Cracking, written by S. Shakthidharan and directed by Eamon Flack. He plays a vital role in the upcoming Apple TV series Shantaram, based on the best selling novel by the same name, premiering October 14th. He has trained at Brave Studios and TAFTA, where he has taken classes under the expertise of directors such as Colin Budds, Declan Eames, Scott Major and many more. In 2020, Sunny won the prestigious AACTA Pitch competition for his 'original and truthful performance' out of 466 submissions Australia wide. He is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi as well as weapons and stage combat trained. He is represented by Artist Management Australia.
