Lawrence "Doc Hollywood" McMichael is an American Actor born and raised in Chicago, IL. He began his acting career in 1995 performing in school plays and musicals. From there, Doc went on to lead his high school team, Curie Metropolition, to an improv championship at "Comedy Sportz Theatre" located on the north side of Chicago. Thereafter, during college, he would land a recurring role in Columbia College's urban soap opera "South Loop" and also performed as a member of Columbia's improv team: "Code Blue" and also Illinois State University's improv team: "improv mafia" Doc Hollywood is most recently known for his multiple appearances with leading roles in B.A. Blessing Production's love saga stage plays "Seeking For A Mate" and also the romantic comedy church fundraiser touring stage play "The First Lady". His performances showed true passion and love for understanding the business which launched the debut of his own stage play in 2016 which he also wrote and directed, "The Journey Of Unity" Doc Hollywood would then cross over into the film world and put on a nail biting performance co-starring as "warreon" in B.A. Blessing's smash hit urban suspense thriller "catfish fillets" which exposes the reality of danger behind internet dating. Doc also landed a lead role in Red Tape Productions upcoming film "Willie: King of the blood diamonds" where he plays the role of "Kane" the right-hand man of the brotherhood. He also had a supporting role as "L-Dog" in the parody "Innavention" that pokes fun at the reality show "Intervention" showcasing people battling to overcome drug addiction. Doc Hollywood is also working on the horror slasher thriller from T Squared Productions "Im Coming For You" where he stars as "Detective Brown" a cop who will stop at nothing to stop a killer terrorizing a group of friends. Doc has also crossed over into the filmmaking industry as his hit stageplay "The Journey Of Unity" is slated to hit the big screen in 2018
