Steve Avalon Gardner

Steve Avalon Gardner was born in 1976 and got his taste at film making seven years later with the help of his older brother Doug and his younger brother Phil. With the cost of super eight being a little more than what they could afford, their short films were made few and far between. When he reached high school he took still photography and creative writing, furthering his love of film. The following ten years after school he worked as a projectionist in many film festivals as well as ran dailies for a few film projects. When reaching college and finishing up his teaching degree his wife Natasha and children encouraged him to follow his passion and go to film school where he began writing, shooting and editing multiple short films and jumped back into film festivals. He is presently working on building three feature films from the ground up.
