Robert L. Edwards was born in Emporia, VA, with over 20 years of experience in the Performing Arts and Visual Arts; he has transitioned into the film industry as an actor and filmmaker. Robert holds a bachelor's degree in music and video production, master's degree in music education, and a doctoral degree in education. He also studies acting under SAG-AFTRA teacher Linda Ann Watts (Television and Film Scene Study, and Script Analysis) and SAG-AFTRA teacher Justin Myrick (Acting for TV and Film) to name a few. The teachings of Konstantin Stanislavsky, Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler, and Ivana Chubbuck have helped to develop his acting skills. He is best known for acting in Stephen King's short film, "One for the Road" and "Two Man and One Bomb." Robert also appeared in the CBS show "The Inspectors." He is also a Professor at Johnson C. Smith University located in Charlotte, NC where he teaches Music Performance and is a Director of Bands. Away from the spotlight, Robert prefers to sit at home and watch movies on his FireTV, cook, read, and most importantly spend time with friends, and family.
