Alwa Ritsila

With no formal training Alwa Ritsila has become slowly known in the Thai indie films scene for his ultra violent work, containing liberal amounts of sex and blood. A schlock purist and self confessed hater or CGI, Alwa prefers to use old school methods for action and gore. His first short 'Mofo Life Size Doll' used cute barbie dolls to tell the story full of blood and rape, some of his other works include 'The Witch', 'The Elevator' and 'The Beast (Aka A Fucking Bitch) '. His work has been screened in 13th Thai Short Film Festival ,18th Thai Short film Festival and at Pridi Banomyong Institute. Alwa also works as a screenwriter for Thai features and Thai series.
