Haliya Roberts was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her family later moved to Richmond, Virginia, where she was raised. As a teenager she performed in various school plays and excelled in her high school's competition show choir. She attended college at George Mason University, where she continued to take acting and dance classes while she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications. After working in the government contracting industry for several years, it because clear to Haliya that she needed to pursue her love of acting. She was accepted into The Honors Acting Conservatory at The Theatre Lab: School of the Dramatic Arts in Washington, DC. After graduating from the program, Haliya has gone on to perform in numerous independent films, commercials, and classical and contemporary plays. She has appeared on stage as Linda MacCarthur in 5th Wall Theatre's Production of Talk Radio, and Portia in Prince William Little Theatre's production on Julius Caesar.
