Vana Kim

Vana Kim attended art school and became a fashion designer after emigrating from South Korea as a high school student to Brazil and then to Canada. She studied philosophy at the University of Toronto and University of Chicago and earned a Doctorate in Education at Harvard University. Vana was a refugee of the Korean War, which divided her family, leading her to become an activist working for permanent peace on the Korean peninsula. She returned to her artistic roots and began acting in her 60's and is now a professional actor and writer based in Los Angeles.
