Sam Krishna

Sam Krishna is a cinematographer and director from Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Cochin, a Southern city of South India, known historically as the " Queen of Arabian Sea". During the college days he filmed and directed small projects and events. After graduation Sam moved to Mumbai, the heart of Bollywood film industry where he participated in a few films and TV productions. Sam moved to USA permanently in 2007 and he worked in the IT Sector for a couple of years in New York and Miami. After he moved to Los Angeles, he switched his career to film industry as a freelance cinematographer. He attained a Masters degree in cinematography (MFA-Cinematography) from New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. For the last couple years he worked as a cinematographer and director in Los Angeles. Sam has successfully completed around 30 projects, which includes, short films, music videos and documentaries. He is specialized in shooting with all kinds of Red & Arri Alexa cameras. He has got good experience in drones and underwater shoot. Sam also did a few projects in 16mm and 35mm film cameras like Arriflex and Panavision.
