Kane Wilson, is an English born filmmaker, most notable for his directing role on 'CerealKup - An Informercial' , a profound satire on societies obsession with commercialism. Born in Preston, Kane grew up watching films, and in particular, comedy films. At the age of eleven, Kane saved up enough money to buy his first camcorder, after many months of labour on the farm and stable he was born and raised in. With this camcorder, he shot his first short film, titled 'Kane sits in a Chair', in which Wilson is seen walking over to a wooden wicker chair, and slowly but surely, lowering himself into it. The film was met with critical acclaim at the local film competition he entered the film into, however was beaten by another child, which left bruises on Kane's face, both physical and metaphorical. It was that day he swore he would never make a film again. That was until 2016, when he caved in a finally directed his second short film, this time titled 'CerealKup - An Informercial', which yet again was met with critical acclaim and was entered into a local film festival. However due to him missing the bus on the day of the film festival, he never received his prize, and to this day, remains awardless.
