Ranger Welling

Ranger Welling, an English Golden Retriever, was born in Budapest and is now dog to director, Shawn Welling, living in Houston, Texas. He has traveled across the U.S. filming in places such as Texas, Georgia, Vermont, Arizona, Colorado, and California. He starred in his first film, "A Love for All Seasons", alongside Chachi Gonzalez and Josh Leyva in 2016. Ranger made his big break in acting in the film, "The Blimp Trap" where he showed his true skills as a service dog with actress Isabella Blake-Thomas. In his latest film, "If I Could Run" (2018), Ranger stars as "Shadow", a lost dog making friends with award-winning actress, Preslee Tucker (Bishop). The film made it to the silver screen and won Houston Film Critic's Society's Gold Remi for both Best Picture and Best Actress. Ranger is currently co-starring with famed NBC dancer Eva Igo in the feature "The Last Astronaut" as well as playing a lead in a period piece about the Alamo called, "Lillian".
