Felix Tonio Stintzing was born in Kiel, Germany. Felix spends his high school years in northern Germany before moving to Vancouver, BC. He then later attended the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel, Germany and dropped out to pursue his entertainment career after one year of taking marine earth sciences classes. Felix transferred to the Macromedia University in Cologne, Germany, where he graduated the Directing/Producing Program. During his studies, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he spent one semester at the National University. His passion for stories and moving pictures moved Felix to start off his directors' debut in 2016. One of his first projects was The Follower, which he wrote before taking film classes. Felix Tonio Stintzing has directed and produced several short films and commercials while attending school. During that time, he started to work together with Fly Fishing Nation Media on several outdoor film projects. After his first documentary Three Runs played at the International RISE Film Festival, he shot and directed multiple film projects together with Fly Fishing Nation Media. The latest project Gigas was shot in the Brazilian jungle about a prehistoric fish called Arapaima. Felix is finished his degree in Germany, where he directed his thesis film called Rezan.
