Andrea Gallo was born and raised in Valencia, Venezuela. In 2014, she made the difficult decision to move to Canada, leaving her family and friends behind. Andrea left, hoping to find a brighter future, due to the critical situation in her home country. She has been passionate about acting and telling stories for as long as she can remember. From performing at National School competitions (poetry and singing) to Carnival Parades wearing exotic costumes, or dancing Flamenco and hip hop in live shows, her love for the arts can be witnessed by all. Andrea is an avid woman of the arts. Her extensive background in Modelling earned her the confidence needed in front of a camera. Additionally, she can dance many different genres, she loves singing, she was a part of Figure Roller Skating National Team back in Venezuela, and is proficient in Ice skating as well. Earning a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Andrea believes intelligence and knowledge are the keys to success. This is why she is relentlessly enrolling in acting classes, workshops and panels with industry experts, to nurture her spirit and hone her skills. As a BIPOC performer, and an advocate for diversity and inclusion, Andrea hopes to continue to fight for Hispanic and Latinx representation in Film and TV in North America. Her hope is to help pave the way for more artists to be allowed - and encouraged - to tell their stories regardless of the way they speak or the way they look.
