Christopher T. Lovett began his writing career composing monologues and object lessons. This led to a five year stint as the Drama Director for his church, working alongside the worship team crafting short skits. His first screenplay, Ties That Bind, placed as a finalist in the 8th annual Kairos Prize for Spiritually Uplifting Screenplays and the Emerging Screenwriters top 100 in 2013 and solidified his passion for the Family and Faith-friendly genres. Since then, Chris has written two TV drama pilots, an adaptation from a YA novel, three short films, and collaborated on a short story that won publication in an anthology. Ties That Bind won two awards in 2019. In addition, one of his TV drama pilots won two awards in that same year. Chris lives in the Texas Hill Country. 2020
