Wahid Anam

Wahid Anam is a Bangladeshi-American filmmaker, writer and producer along with being the founder Director of SHUNNO ENTERTAINMENT Ltd. Wahid attended the Taylors College in Malaysia for A Level; later for higher education he went to USA and completed his Bachelor Degree on Advertising & Marketing Communication from Baruch College, which is one of the top business schools in USA. He has also completed his Masters Degree from New York Film Academy on Film Directing (UNIVERSAL Studio - LA Campus). Wahid is a dual citizen of Bangladesh and the United States. He made his directorial debut with a Telefilm named 'New York' in the year 2011. He became one of the most successful young directors within a very short period of time. Wahid is best known for directing the social critic thriller "PARI" and for which he was awarded "Best Director" by Meril-Prothom Alo 2013. He has also achieved "Best Critic Award" for his telefilm "CHINNO" by Meril-Prothom Alo 2014. Some of his other successful directions are CHOKRO, DHOA, NESHA, MEGHLA, RIPU & a few more. He has also directed a bunch of TVC's & now focusing for his first feature film.
