Jessy Taylor's life exploded back in 2016 when one photo posted on Instagram catapulted her career into stardom. She has since appeared on the Dr. Phil show, and was featured in Daily Mail, Cosmopolitan, and World Star Hip Hop. Her whirlwind career as a social media influencer and musician, however, began with humble beginnings. Growing up in Tampa, she lived the quintessential middle class life, cheering for her high school football team, and later attending Mississippi State University before being arrested and taken to jail for attempted murder. After beating the charge and evading an 18 year sentence, Jessy discovered her love of music. She later dropped her first single "Energize" to mixed reception on SoundCloud while struggling to support herself, working a minimum wage job at McDonalds. Returning to her hometown after a tragic family death, she pursued her music career, trying to find her voice in the studio before eventually relocating to L.A. where she worked with CB Mix, the music producer behind the stylings of Wiz Khalifa and Chance the Rapper, and her best friend, the late Diego Farias, dropping her successful EP "Dirty Youngin'," and singles "Bad Bitch" and "Die for You." She currently has over 200k followers across her social media platforms and is based in Los Angeles County, California. ~ Robert S. Tolppi
