Jacqui Buchanan

Jacqui Buchanan was born on 26th February 1990 in Adelaide, South Australia and is best known for Stranded (2018) and The Secret Daughter (2016). Jacqui began acting at an early age, starring in the Qantas 'I still Call Australia Home' campaign which featured during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. As an adolescent, Jacqui moved to Sydney, Australia where she experienced success as an international model. Jacqui then returned her sights to acting and went on to achieve great commercial success, starring in television advertisements for global brands including Toyota, Holden, Target and KFC. In 2018 Jacqui landed a lead role playing opposite Joe Davidson (Neighbours) in Australian short film, 'Stranded.' Jacqui followed up this role with the role of Sophie in the thought provoking drama 'Drought' (2019). This short film was directed by award winner Nathan Colquhoun (Abandoned Show) and is based on a true story.
