Christopher Adam Painter was born and raised in Ayelsbury, England. From 12, Chris started Tae Kwon Do and at 15 be was one of the best fighters in Europe winner multiple gold medals in sparring around the world. It was shortly after getting my black belt that he discovered an interest in dancing & performing, attending regular classes at the Kercher School of dance. From the discipline learnt from Tae Kwon Do he was focused in classes and managed to gain a place at Brian Roger's Performing Arts College which is one of the top Performing arts colleges in the world. He trained relentlessly for 3 years on the dance theatre course whilst picking up extra classes during the day as well as attending regular classes at South Essex Gymnastics twice a week and classes in London on the weekends. This work ethic meant that he became one of the few in his year to get a job straight out of college. In May he started life as a full time professional performer for Princess Cruises as a dancer/singer. He was flown to Santa Clarita LA where he was given 8 days to learn six full stage shows, it was tough, but with the shows learnt 8 days later he flew round the world to join the Sapphire Princess and then the Diamond after. After this he went on to dance and act in one of France's top cabaret shows with Sinan Bertrand (French musical theatre star). Along side dancing and acting he had the opportunity to show his acrobatic ability as well as his stage weapon work. He was also fortunate enough to be picked to learn to do wire work in the show. It was a great job but this journey started in a PHA production of Aladdin where he landed the role of the quick witted and charismatic Genie of the Lamp. He has now started training to join the JISC stunt register as well as working towards getting into acting and live stunt shows.
