Born on 5 June 1987 in Interlaken, Bern, Switzerland, Angela Frautschi is a professional ice hockey player, who plays defense. Her career took off in 2006 and she participated in the 2006 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. From all those three events, Frautschi won the one bronze Olympic medal in 2014 in Sochi, Russia. The bronze medal is actually the first medal in Ice Hockey since the men won bronze at home way back in 1948 at St. Moritz, Switzerland. Frautschi won a bronze medal at the 2012 IIHF World Women's Championships.
