Justin Moore was born in Belfast in 1973. His parents decided to move the family to Australia in 1974, due to the worsening situation in the north of Ireland. Justin's interest in acting took hold in his early teens, eventually treading the boards as Fagin in a school production of Oliver at age 15. He attended The Centre for the Performimg Arts in Adelaide, South Australia, and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Arts in 1996. Justin has gone on to work in television and film, but mainly in theatre, most notably with State Theatre Company of South Australia. With a need to pursue more television and film work, Justin moved to Melbourne in 2005. Barely a year into his relocation, he was snapped up by a local original celtic folk band and became their lead singer in 2006. This band would go on to be known as The Currency and share the stage with the likes of Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys and Weddings, Parties, Anything.
