Rafaela Tavares Raposo is a theatre based actor born in Brasilia, Brazil, in 1991, parents Jose Ribamar Raposo, businessman, Mirian Raposo, doctoral in Psychology, and older brother Guilherme Raposo, psychologist. She attended Colegio Marista de Brasilia, where she participated in several performances as a dancer and discovered her passion for the arts. In 2014, Rafaela was offered a talent based scholarship to study musical theatre at the New York Film Academy, where she developed her theatre skills even further and had the opportunity to fall in love with camera work. She was a lead actress in Streetwrite (2017), and choreographer in the movie Chrysalis (2016). After her graduation in 2016, Rafaela was cast in the movie Food Like Love, directed by Johanna Pinzler, and later on she was cast in the movie Alma Mater directed by Nathan Brewer. She's currently living in New York City.
