Michaela Downes

Born in the Caribbean island of Barbados, Michaela Anne Rebecca Downes began mastering her acting talent from an early age. Her first on screen appearance took the form of informational advertisements for UNICEF geared at raising awareness on children's rights. Michaela continued to hone her onscreen commercial acting while attending primary school St.Gabriel's through to her preteens at Queens College. In 2010 Michaela played Tisha in Hush 3 a Barbadian feature film showcased in local theaters. At tertiary Michaela chose studies in Law and Italian but her heart belonged to acting.The young teen pursued acting lessons with seasoned Barbadian actress Alison Seale Smith and in 2015 moved to Miami Florida. Florida became a second home and new talents came naturally such as modeling.
