Sir Andrew Cook CBE is a British industrialist, philanthropist, historian and author. He is the owner and Chairman of William Cook Holdings Limited, one of Europe's leading steel and engineering groups. He has three steel plants in Sheffield, Leeds and Stanhope, County Durham. A sizeable part of his work force are highly skilled engineers from Poland.
