Samantha Romero

Samantha began theatre acting as a teen in Arizona, with roles in productions such as Harvey and Bye Bye Birdie. She continued to study in college, taking coursework in television and film acting. After signing with an agent in Phoenix, Samantha branched out into commercial work, and played a recurring co-starring role with a western theatre group. After moving to Los Angeles in 2012, she began learning the industry by working on numerous productions. She joined SAG-AFTRA in 2017, and continues to grow her experience and list of credits. Born in Storm Lake, Iowa, as Samantha McPherren, she then moved to Mesa, Arizona where she attended junior high and high school, later graduating from Arizona State University. She began a lengthy career in the real estate and mortgage industry, but in 2014, could no longer deny the urge to finally pursue her love of acting and all things Hollywood. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys writing, reading, watching football and hockey, evenings at the dog park with her pups, and weekends at the beach with her family. She has been married to her husband, Paul, since 1995, and they have two children. As a breast cancer survivor, Samantha participates in various cancer fundraising events, as well as supporting the ASPCA and World Wildlife Fund, and is a vocal advocate for the rescue and adoption of shelter pets.
