Jonathan James Alexander Bridges was born May 7, 1977 to Jack C. Bridges and Lora M (Haynes) Bridges, their third son. At the age of five, Jonathan picked up his parents' Polaroid camera and was immediately hooked on photography. He was also involved in his school band, playing saxophone and percussion. Jonathan married Donna Holt in 2000, and they had his only child, Elizabeth Bridges, in 2001. In 2005, he opened up JJAB Studios, where he began doing professional photography for a number of wrestling outfits in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana, as well as a number of car shows, minor football, and Babe Ruth Jr. tournaments. Jonathan's oldest and last living brother, Shawn, had fallen into bad health from a life-long drug addiction. He was cleaning himself up when a documentary by Chip Rosetti, "No More Sunsets: The Last Days of a Meth Addict," was made and Jonathan was involved in this. Shawn Passed away in 2007 and Jonathan fell into depression for a few years. In 2013, Jonathan began writing scripts just to get his thoughts to paper. One script was the birth of his filming career, "13th Darkness," which is still being worked on. He also closed JJAB Studios and started Bridges Imaging Productions. Jonathan was self-taught in photography and filmmaking, but he felt it was important to acquire a formal education, thus honing and documenting his abilities to help facilitate his entry into the film industry. So with the help and couching of good friend and media instructor Randy McWilson. Jonathan enrolled to the Cape Girardeau MO Career and Technology Center (CTC) in the fall of 2019. An unprovoked attack in October of 2019, and then the COVID-19 pandemic greatly slowed the production of "Sin" and other projects on which Jonathan was working. "Out of Time," a short that was a school project, has already won his team a silver medal in the Skills USA Missouri District level. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible for it to go to state. "Out of Time" was submitted to other contests and won awards for Best Director, Best Student Film, Best Short Film, Best Music, and more, including a bronze TELLY Award and a Nomination to the NATAS EMMY MID-AMERICA STUDENT AWARDS.
