Garren Rubino

Garren Patrick Rubino was born to Rosemary & Kenneth Rubino. He grew up in San Jose, California. His parents later had his sister, Miranda Rubino, when he was 4. His father was a Naval Senior Chief in the United States Navy. His mother was a nurse in a developmental center in Santa Clara, CA. While they worked, he spent a lot of time with his grandmother, Dorothy Rubino. She introduced him to actors of the silver screen. Such as James Stewart, Cary Grant, John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, to name a few. She also introduced him to singers of that era like Sinatra, Martin, Nat King Cole, and Crosby. When he graduated High school, he wanted to do something in the entertainment business. He decided to go to school and get his Graphic Design degree. In hopes of working for Disney one day. After receiving a Bachelors in Visual Communications, he continued to work in the Silicon Valley as a graphic designer. He did this for 10 years, until finally deciding he needed a career change. He then, went back to school to try for a business degree and realizing he had a knack for writing. He took a screen writing class. Then acting classes. Then production classes. He has written and co written several script for friends, along with stand up comedy routines for a few other friends as well. He has worked in front of the camera, behind it, and also in post production.
