Kate Jopson

Kate Jopson is a director, producer, and voice actor who specializes in creating filmed and live "experiences," and is known for her many roles on the popular superhero spoof series "Society of Virtue". Originally from rural Northern CA, she performed in 40 plays by the time she was 17. Then she attended UC Berkeley, where she studied Anthropology and Arabic. She also lived and studied in Egypt where she learned the deep importance of stories. Her professional career began in the San Francisco Bay Area where she performed and directed at theatres and acted in film projects, including a stint as a host of a Yahoo media series "The Y." She went of to get her MFA in directing at UC San Diego and moved to Los Angeles. She was Artistic Director of the acclaimed Circle X Theatre and now co-runs Aliso, an experiential company that explores social and racial justice issues in the past and present.
