Adrian Hudson is an award winning filmmaker, playwright and screenwriter who specializes in period dramas and contemporary urban stories. After struggling to find his feet in the early 2000s, Adrian finally made the fateful decision to quit working and to explore an interest in screenwriting and directing. After completing his Diploma of Film Production in 2010 he finally settled on creating period work as well as exploring contemporary social issues through dark urban dramas on film. Over the years Adrian has developed a unique style of storytelling that is a reflection of his own experiences and struggles with finding a place in the 21st century. Since finishing his studies he has written an evening-length stage adaptation of Dostoevsky's The Gambler, written a television mini-series about the Civil War called The Soldier's Wife and has directed two short contemporary dramas titled Crossroads and the multi-award winning Behind Glass Walls.
