Deirdre Manning

Deirdre Manning was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Florida. Now she lives in NYC and does a lot of improv comedy. Deirdre got the performing bug from the theatre, as many suburban children do. She attended the University of Central Florida, and got her BFA in Musical Theatre with minors in Environmental Science and Dance, cuz why not. She trained at Upright Citizens Brigade and The Comedy Lab in improv and sketch, and has a weekly show at The Tank with Loser Boy Improv. She is a very proud member of Actor's Equity Association. Deirdre also loves to write and direct. She's wicked "sm-aht", as they say in Boston, so that helps. Among other stuff, she co-created a sketch comedy group with her writing partner, Helena Farhi, called Chill Grill Comedy. Deirdre has a cool Mum and Dad and is a big fan of her twin brother, Joseph, who is in Boston saving the world from environmental destruction. In her free time, Deirdre enjoys cooking, baking and mostly, eating. She also likes reading, hiking, volunteering for non-profits, particularly dog-related, and of course, Netflix-ing. She is a millenial, after all.
