Seán Óg was born on 7th March 1997 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. He grew up in Dundalk, Co. Louth. He made his amateur debut as a dancer with Dundalk Musical Society in their Pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, in An Táin Theatre, Dundalk, in January 2013. His first leading role came only months later when he was cast as Ronnie Winslow in Dundalk Theatre Workshop's production of The Winslow Boy. Following two successful runs in An Táin Theatre in late-2013 and early-2014, and a tour of numerous Irish national drama-festivals, Seán Óg picked up his first two awards: Best Young Actor and Most Dramatic Scene / Best Moment of Theatre. He continued to do amateur theatre regularly in Dundalk for the next two years alongside his schooling. His first on-screen credit came as an extra in Pierce Brosnan's I.T. in summer 2015, followed shortly by a featured-extra role in BBC's Ripper Street. He attended an open-audition in Belfast, Northern Ireland, late in the summer of 2015, which led to him being cast as Young Ed in Disney Channel's The Lodge several months later, which he filmed in April 2016. Having been seen in The Lodge, he was scouted in September 2016 for a pilot, which was backed, and to be aired, by a major global broadcaster. He was cast in a leading role and the pilot was filmed in Castleknock, Co. Dublin. The show, however, never got the green-light. In January 2017, he was cast as Dylan in RTÉ2 and BBC Worldwide's Nowhere Fast. He was cast as the time-traveling villain, Frank the Time Collector, in the new global Hulu Original & Disney Channel TV-series, Find Me in Paris, in May 2017. Season 1 aired globally in 2018. Season 2 began to air in summer 2019 and premiered internationally until the end of 2019. He was cast as series-regular, Austin, in Season 2 of the comedy-drama, Can't Cope, Won't Cope, in October 2017, which aired on RTÉ2 and BBC3 in mid-2018 and began streaming on Netflix U.S., Canada, U.K. & Ireland in late-2018. Seán Óg finished filming Season 3 of Find Me Paris in December 2019.
