Rose Salinas

Rose Salinas also known as Rosa Maria Rubio grew up in Rockford IL. She has been singing since she was 3 at many churches and got her first live performance at at 11 when she sang the National Anthem for The Rockford basketball team The Lightning. At age 15 she won an award for best singer /group of Rockford (Rami Award) Best of Rockford. There she met her husband the drummer and they got married in 1998. In 2005 Rose won a vocal Competition which allowed her to have her original song "Change Me" on air for the first time. They soon where discovered by Grammy Nominated Sarah Kelly whom took them under her wing and helped them with their first EP The Salinas Band.
