Tim Mombourquette is an independent filmmaker and videographer from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Mombourquette began working in the camera department after graduating from Dalhousie University in 2017 with a BSc in biology. Throughout his degree, he worked as an interdepartmental videographer for his school, as well as for various organizations within the community. This experience helped him transition comfortably from science to film, able to find work on short films and commercials days following the completion of his degree. While a student, Mombourquette used elective opportunities to educate himself in offered courses on film studies. One such course required his creating of a short animated music video, which went on to win first prize at the One Minute Film/Video Festival in Aarau, Switzerland (2016).
