Morgan Doud

Morgan Doud was born in Champaign, Illinois to Tom and Jennifer Doud, they reside just outside of Arcola, Illinois. Morgan achieved a level of comfort of being on stage at a young age, at 5 years old she competed in, and won, the title of Little Miss Arcola. This led to competitive cheer leading, often competing in front of crowds numbering in the thousands. She discovered the theatre when her mother signed her up for the Youth Theatre Camp sponsored by the Actors' Rural Theatre Company, otherwise known as ARTCo. In 2013 she played the role of Little Bear in A Walk in the Woods, in 2014 she was cast as the wise-cracking parrot Lago in Aladdin Kids and in 2015 she won the leading role of Annie in Annie Kids. In 2016 the venue that ARTCo uses underwent an extensive remodel that forced the cancellation of the Youth Theatre Camp for that year so she attended two separate summer camps with Class Act of Champaign. Morgan enjoys the differing challenges of both the big screen and the theatre.
