Johanna Griebel

Johanna Griebel is a German actress born in Bielefeld. She studied acting at the famous acting academy "Ernst Busch". Already in her second year she played at two Broadway theater companies in Berlin. She started her career playing at the "Berliner Ensemble"and at "Deutsches Theater Berlin" at the same time. She mostly played leading roles such as "Polly" in the "Threepenny Opera" staged by world-famous director Robert Wilson. With the "Threepenny Opera" she traveled all over the world. She is best known for playing young and powerful heroines with great depth and a strong sensuality. In 2017 she played a young and ambitious journalist in her first movie. The comedy was shown in thirty cinemas all over Germany.
