Maya Bednarek

Maya Gabriela Bednarek was born in Palos Park, IL to Polish parents. Her talent and love for acting was apparent at a very early age. Maya began acting at the age of 6 in Chicago. She spent the summer in an acting camp, following which she was signed with an agent. That same year she booked her first acting role in a feature "Imago" playing Evelyn Tanner opposing Peter Mastne and Katelin Stack. That same year she appeared in "Chicago Justice", 2 short films and several commercials. When Maya was 8 her family moved to Los Angeles to give her the opportunity to pursue her dream. At the young age of 11 Maya has shown an acting maturity beyond her years. She has already several projects under her belt including "9-1-1 Lone Star" playing Emily, Stella in "Shameless", Luke's Daughter in "Good Girls" and her latest role of Young Phyllis in "The Shrink Next Door".
