Luke Dimyan was born and raised in Torrance, California in a very close-knit family. Luke is currently playing Judas on The Chosen, where he is a series regular and just wrapped filming his first season with the show. You've previously seen his work on the FX show Better Things, opposite Pamela Adlon and the Viaplay original streaming series Home Invasion where he worked alongside actors Morena Baccerin and John Noble. His short film The Prophet, which he wrote, starred and directed in, recently had a successful run in three film festivals. He studied improv at The Second City in Hollywood and currently performs improv around the LA area. Luke caught the acting bug at a very young age. After considering becoming a firefighter or rockstar, a chance viewing of Jim Carrey's The Mask convinced him that this was the career he wished to pursue. He immersed himself in every school play and local theater production he could, even picking up some musical theater skills and experience, before attending AMDA College and Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Hollywood. There he perfected his acting craft as well as found a love for screenwriting, film editing, poetry, and playwriting. In Luke's free time he sculpts and sketches as another form of artistic expression. He also writes spec scripts in his free time and hopes to pitch one of his shows or films into reality someday.
