Michael GeoVonni Young

Michael GeoVonni Young, born in Memphis, Tennessee is the third of five children. His mother, Marion, from Arkansas, was a school teacher, while his father worked in the services and as a construction worker. Michael knew from an early age he had big dreams. He got his first taste of the entertainment industry right after high school by taking first place in the Mr. Delta Beau pageant for North East Arkansas; little did he know that, that moment would stick with him for years to come. After graduating West Memphis High School, Michael took his love for math, science, and gaming to the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville where he would pursue a degrees in Computer Science Engineering. While in college, Michael would walk-on to the university football team and track team. He played receiver in football and was a decathlete in track and field; though, he would go on to play years of professional football after completing college his path would lead him to Corporate America. After spending 9 years working for a fortune 500 company and winning numerous awards, he ended up in Los Angeles, CA, the home of the entertainment industry. Michael decided at this point to call it a career in the corporate world and pick up where he left off in modeling. He thought acting class would help to enhance the magical moments captured in still shots. Michael felt like he had found something that had been missing and that missing piece was acting. Michael has studied dramatic, commercial, and improvisational acting. He continues to grow and hone his skills. He is known for his intensity, his smile, his eyes, and his voice. He burst onto the scene in 2015 landing multiple principal and feature roles in commercials, t.v., student films, and independent projects before landing a lead role in the 2016 independent film Bum'd Out. Michael is a fresh face to Hollywood, but has proven successes throughout his career. The lights are very bright for Michael's future.
