Isabella Knight

Isabella Knight is an award winning Musician, Actress and Producer in both television and film. Her adventurous nature and urge to constantly learn new things made her move from a small village in Southern Germany to Hollywood where she resides since 2010. Isabella is known for being the lead singer in the alternative-rock band The Dead Good which was awarded in 2016 with The Akademia Music Award for Best Alternative Rock EP. Furthermore, she has won prestigious awards for Best Script and Best Upcoming Actress from the MDH Awards for her work in The Stranger In You. Isabella appears in TV commercials such as Diesel Loverdose and international magazines. Musically Isabella debuted with The Dead Good in 2013 with their EP Thirteen Polaroids which quickly raised interest from Europe over the US to Japan. Formed by Isabella Knight (vocals) and Sonny Lanegan (guitar/vocals), formerly frontman of the electronic rock band White Pulp, it is known for its unique sound with bluesy elements and a hint of punk. Isabella Knight's look perfectly highlights The Dead Goods' wild and tumble stage show which includes her kooky and flirty personality. The music of The Dead Good can be heard in several TV Shows such as Mozart in the Jungle or Chozen. Isabella began her career at a very young age in her home country of Germany. Starting with ballet classes at the age of 3 years, she developed her love for performing on the stage. At age 12, her German teacher who was also the director of the city's theater, picked her to play the role of Pippa in Agatha Christie's Das Spinnennetz (The Spiderweb). She continued to perform in many more plays. Always being the tallest kid in her age group, gave her the amazing opportunity to start modeling at the age of 14. She could gain valuable experience in the professional business and was able to travel through Germany and certain parts of Europe for jobs. After graduating from high school she moved to Berlin, where she quickly found a leading agency that signed her and helped her with the first steps in the industry of Germany's capitol before moving on to Los Angeles only 4 years later.
