Alejandro Marin dropped out his architecture studies in 2013 and moved to Barcelona to study a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Media at the ESCAC (Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia). After filming some amateur audiovisual works before entering the school, he developed and directed different short films as student like Esto nos separa (2015) y Laborable (2016). He graduated in the specialty of Film Directing with the short film Nacho no conduce (2018) after the ESCAC selected his script between hundreds and offered financial support to film it. His last work is La filla d'algú (2019), a collective full-length film made by eleven graduates from the 20th class of the ESCAC with partners from other specialties of the school such as actors.
