Aqeel Taahir Ash-Shakoor was born in Murfreesboro, NC. He is known for Law & Order:SVU Season 24 (NBC) Precinct Commander Inspector Borsits; Chicago Med Season 4 (NBC) as Shrapnel Man and Season 7 as FBI Agent Russo; The Staircase (HBO Max) as State Police 2; and A League of Their Own (Prime Original Series) as Pastor Donald Turner.
