Katerina Nikonovich

In 2013 she completed the Summer School of journalism (organizers: OSCE Academy, Deutsche Welle Akademie) in the directions: TV, radio, web and print. And also the environmental journalism course of DW Akademie. In 2014 went to the Filmshool in Minsk to study directing. In 2015 defended the diploma in the university, subject: "Psychological methods of social impact of advertising on the Internet". In the same year began to study at the Belarusian Academy of Arts as a director (direction: TV). Since 2014 she works in social journalism with AIDS theme in UNDP (2015-2016), UNAIDS (2016 till now). At this time she writing articles, making reportage photos and shooting video. Also she working as first assistant director on the different social projects. At the beginning of 2016 she with Andrei Kalesnikau filmed booktrailer for mobile film festival "Smartfilm", which received a nomination for "Best art decision". Then with the new studio KONI crew she directed two short films "The Unnamed" and "To Remember". In 2017 "To Remember" selected in the short-list of the Belarusian international film festival "Smartfilm".
