Joshua Weldon was born in Plattsburgh, NY. His Father is a retired US Air Force Master Sargent and is mother is an early childhood educator. He moved throughout his childhood. He lived in New York, Japan, Kansas, and Hawaii. As a kid, he spent his time watching and idolizing Jim Carry and doing impressions of him for his family and friends. He also participated in kid's soccer. Joshua began acting back in 2003 as a freshman at Derby High School, joining drama club and performing in his first school play, Cat in the Hat. He moved to Hawaii in 2004, as a sophomore attending Radford High School. There, he continued to grow as an actor by performing in many school plays, such as Jungle Book and the Christmas Carole. He also participated in wrestling, cross county, and track. He varsity lettered 6 times, and gained the recognition of MVP for his wrestling team. At Leeward Community College, he trained for the stage under his mentor Dr. Paul Cravath. Here, Joshua met his talented wife Jessica Ciufo, when they were both performing in the Odyssey. He continued to perform, playing the leading roles Oedipus and the Monkey King. He also performed in many of the community theaters on the island, such as Marks Garage and Kumu Kahua Theater. He has enjoyed roles ranging from classical Shakespeare to modern/contemporary roles written by local artist. He finally pursed film in 2011, acting in a short indie film, "Modern Runaway." Soon after, he took a break from acting to peruse business, mathematics, and computer science at University of Hawaii at Monoa. In 2016, he graduated UHM with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2016, he got back into film with a principle role in "The Cutting Truth." Today, he runs his own startup company, Aloha.Codes, while auditioning and performing for local films in Hawaii.
