Andrew Pollack was raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He received a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature along with a certificate in Film Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While at school, Andrew received two consecutive Michael S. Roif awards. One for his adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell Tale Heart and the other for his own story, the The Henry Holmes Motel. He also received an award for the best short film at the ICE. Film Festival for his short film Hank and most recently won an Honorable Mention award at USA Film Festival for his short film Aberration. He is currently studying directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
