Dr. Marshall Partington devotes his practice to enhancing the lives of his patients. He finds great joy in helping his Seattle, Kirkland and Bellevue patients' look and feel their very best at any age. He views each person and their story as a new journey with a very specific and unique objective. The happiness and gratitude of our patients is his greatest reward of all. Dr Partington attended Williams College and graduated with honors before he received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College where he was president of his class. He completed a vigorous 7 year general surgery program at UCLA. During that time he also served as a research fellow for the Department of Cardio-thoracic Surgery at UCLA Medical Center where he published extensively. He then trained in plastic surgery at New York University under the renowned Dr. Joseph McCarthy. He completed his surgical training in both microsurgery and hand surgical fellowship in San Francisco under the late Dr Harry Buncke, who is regarded as the Father of Microsurgery. It was here that he and his wife were blessed with a twin boy and girl. He served as Director of Microsurgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center for 5 years. Subsequently he was Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Everett Clinic in Washington before starting his private practice on the Eastside in 1998. Throughout Dr Partington's post graduate training he received numerous awards for his performance and scientific contributions. He has been invited over 40 times to be a guest lecturer to his fellow medical professionals on topics of his specialties and he has been published in original papers. Since 1992 Dr. Marshall Partington has volunteered as a surgeon and a committee member with Interplast (now ReSurge International), the first non-profit organization to provide free plastic surgery to children in need around the world. Dr. Partington feels privileged to contribute his skills to children with cleft lip, birth defects, burns and hand injuries. He has also found joy in teaching his knowledge, training and techniques to doctors in China, Mongolia, the Philippines, Ecuador, Brazil, Vietnam, Nepal, Mali and Africa. Dr Partington is honored to serve as president of the board for the regional chapter of Healing the Children whose motto is "Healing children around the corner and around the world." Dr Partington's passion is to eradicate child sex trafficking in Seattle.
