Jenny Lester was born into a family of actors in the San Fernando Valley before striking out on her own as an actress, director, and writer. She worked in commercials and voice overs as a kid and appeared on the soundtrack of the Ted Post-directed Four Faces. Jenny attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh for Musical Theatre. There, with Gabrielle Zevin's blessing, she adapted and directed a mixed media version of the 2005 indie film, Conversations With Other Women. For two years Jenny worked as a writers' assistant for Steven Sater (Broadway's Spring Awakening) before starting her own company, Shallow Graves, under which she wrote and starred in the pilot of the web series, Platonics, as well as her her first feature, What She Said. Jenny lives in both NYC & LA where she continues to work on stage and screen.
